    The affected models of countertop water dispensers were produced with an uncertified CSA "vented" base which may pose a potential for shock and possible smoke/fire hazard if the unit is operated improperly.
    How can I tell if my product is affected by the voluntary recall?
    This voluntary recall affects only the countertop water dispenser models GWD2630W, PWD2635W, VWD2636W, VWD2636BLK and VWD2636RED, manufactured from June 2006 through November 2007 with the first four digits of the serial number starting with 0606 through 0711. The affected models bear a cCSAus Mark with file number 218326 identified on the (silver) product rating plate. The date of manufacture is also located on the (silver) rating plate. The serial number is located on a (white) label and both plates can be found on the back of the countertop dispenser. It is critical to note that any of the foregoing model numbers followed by;
    • "-1" or " -2" designation or
    • Any model inclusive of a solid type base (no ventilation openings) are "NOT" affected under this voluntary recall.

    My product appears to be operating okay. Can I continue to use it?
    No; Even though your product appears to be operating okay, we are asking all affected customers to "immediately" stop using the product and participate in the voluntary recall program.
    I no longer have the proof of purchase for the product.
    You must still participate in the voluntary recall even without a proof of purchase.

    Once you obtain a reference number, please allow up to 5 business days. We apologize for any inconvenience, and assure you that every effort will be made to complete the procedure as quickly as possible.
